Carli Dominator 3.0 Leveling System Base Kit

The Carli Dominator 3.0 Leveling System is designed for 2003–2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4×4 diesel trucks, delivering Carli’s true jack-of-all-trades short-arm suspension package. Built for customers who want the best balance of on-road comfort and off-road capability, this system maintains the factory short-arm layout while providing a major improvement in ride quality, control, and suspension travel.

This system features Carli Signature tuned King 3.0 inch remote reservoir shocks, taller lighter-rate front coil springs, a full progressive rear leaf pack, and an adjustable track bar to help correct axle position after lifting. The Dominator is the top all-around short-arm system in the Carli lineup, offering excellent street manners while giving the truck off-road performance that makes it feel much smaller and more controlled.

System Details:

• The Dominator is Carli’s top short-arm, all-around suspension system

• King 3.0 inch shocks are custom tuned by Carli and are not off-the-shelf King shocks

• Shocks are tuned around Carli’s custom piston design for heavy-duty truck performance

• Oversized 3.0 inch shocks provide increased control and off-road capability

• Front spring buckets must be bored for proper shock clearance

• Full progressive leaf pack replaces the entire factory rear leaf spring assembly

• Rear leaf pack increases travel and ride comfort throughout the usable stroke

• Extended control arms are recommended to shift the axle forward to its new center of travel

Sway Bar Options:

• Extended sway bar end links help reset factory sway bar engagement points after lifting

• Extended links use 1/2 inch FK rod ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies

• Factory pillow bushings are reused with the extended end links

• Optional torsion sway bar replaces the factory sway bar assembly

• Torsion sway bar uses fabricated drop brackets, Delrin bushings, fabricated sway bar arms, and dual 5/8 inch FK heim end links

• Torsion sway bar is one of Carli’s best ride-quality upgrades

Notes:

• Compatible with diesel 4×4 applications.

• Full progressive leaf pack reduces payload by approximately 15% from a standard Ram 2500.

• Payload reduction can be supplemented with Carli Long Travel Airbags for added load support and control.

• Lifting a straight axle truck shifts the front axle toward the driver side and rearward unless linkages are addressed.

• Adjustable track bar helps move the axle back toward the passenger side.

• Extended control arms are recommended to correct the rearward axle shift.

• King shocks use plated steel bodies. If exposed to harsh weather for extended periods, Carli recommends wrapping the shock bodies with 3M protective film as a replaceable moisture barrier.

Wheel and Tire Fitment:

• Fits up to 37 inch tires with Carli High Clearance Control Arms and Full Progressive Leaf Springs.

• Recommended wheel specs for 37 inch tires: no more than 9 inches wide with 5.75 inches of backspacing.

• If using factory control arms or factory wheels, Carli recommends a 35 inch all-terrain tire.

• Larger wheel diameters may result in a firmer ride due to reduced tire sidewall.
