BD valve bodies are extensively modified and thoroughly tested to deliver reliable performance for both towing and high-demand applications. One of the most common failure points in factory 68RFE valve bodies is excessive bore wear, which leads to pressure loss and shifting issues. BD addresses this problem by installing a steel-sleeved bore that dramatically reduces wear and extends service life.
Each valve body is precision assembled with upgraded internal components designed to eliminate overdrive leakage while increasing maximum line pressure capacity. The result is a durable, dependable valve body that improves shift quality, reliability, and overall transmission performance in demanding conditions.
