BD Diesel Performance designs, manufactures, and distributes a wide range of products engineered specifically for high-performance diesel applications. Based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, BD operates from a 65,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility and employs more than 60 highly trained professionals.
The BD name gained industry recognition in 1989 with the introduction of the first exhaust brake for diesel pickup trucks, helping shape the modern diesel performance market. The company’s roots extend back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection Ltd. was founded. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance operate as a unified organization.
With eight specialized divisions focused on diesel powertrain components—including fuel injection calibration, exhaust brake manufacturing, electronics design and assembly, transmission and torque converter remanufacturing, turbocharger development, installation services, and research and development—BD maintains a fully integrated approach to the diesel performance aftermarket.
